Paul Cordes is a senior Republican strategist, campaign veteran and government affairs consultant.

​He has worked on multiple statewide and national races, with extensive experience in campaign management, voter contact and communications.​

Paul most recently served as Senior Advisor to the Michigan Republican Party and newly appointed Ambassador to Canada, Pete Hoekstra, during his chairmanship in 2024. During that time, Michigan was the only State House in the country to flip from Democrat to Republican, and the state turned Red for the first time since 2016.

Previously Paul served as Chief of Staff of the Michigan Republican Party and served in a senior role in the 2018 Michigan Senate Campaign Committee's successful retention of their majority.​

Paul has also advised for multiple Presidential candidates including Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum.

Paul has worked with a number of Corporations, Associations and Committees to assist in their development of effective Government Affairs planning.

​He has an extensive national network which includes some of the most talented strategists and candidates in Republican politics. ​

Paul lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with his wife Madalyn and their two children.
